Are jealousy and envy affecting your love life more than you'd like?  Have you relied on jealousy to bypass uncomfortable situations? Would you like to learn how to understand and overcome jealousy in relationships? You're not alone. Join us for an eye-opening workshop designed to explore the roots of this powerful, but common emotion. In Deconstructing Jealousy, we’ll dive deep into the factors that fuel jealousy, learning to approach these feelings with compassion and curiosity. 

  • Discover how jealousy serves as an emotional alert system, revealing underlying fears and unmet needs. 
  • Develop constructive coping mechanisms and strategies to transform jealousy into a catalyst for personal growth.
  • Empower yourself with the tools to overcome jealousy and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

This hour-long class will be followed up by an optional 30 minute Q&A/discussion, where you can gain further insights into your personal situations or get clarity on topics covered in the lecture. Copies of class slides will also be available upon request. 

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Adelina Adler (she/they) is a Sex Coach & Educator based in Southeastern NC, focusing on their fellow GSRD (Gender, Sexual, Relationship Diverse) population and host of the Sexplorations! With Adelina Adler podcast. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from UNCW and is currently completing certification through the Sexual Health Alliance. Adelina has been featured in podcasts such as Michelle Renee's The Intimacy Lab, and Story Time With the Intimacy Ally with Jeni Simas, and has been featured as a panel speaker at Vino & Vulvas in Asheville, NC.

As a queer, relationship diverse, woman of color, former Sex Worker, and member of the kink community, Addy brings first-hand perspectives and insight into the field of sexuality that blends personal experience with her academic background in Cognitive Psychology, Philosophy, and Neurobiology.
